An effective waterproofing application using liquid rubber paint requires a minimum of a 2mm thick spray coating to be applied after the usual appropriate blasting, cleaning, preparation, caulking and/ or masking. One litre of spray applied coating will cover 1 square meter at 1mm thick. Once the recommended 2mm thickness is applied, it generally takes up to 5 days of drying time using an extraction system and moisture monitoring equipment. This product can be applied onto any surface and it’s a phenomenal waterproofing product. Whilst it is a great product, it has the same limitations as any other waterproofing application. Meaning, it is only suitable in specific environments and must be applied by experienced technicians who have ISO9001 and ISO9002 quality assurance certification for system critical services. For example, town or building water supply, emergency fire services, process liquid storage, and de-mineralised water storage on power stations.
